GALASHIELS WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT CAUSING SEVERE INJURY AND DANGER TO LIFE
Jasmine Lauder is accused of carrying out an assault at her home in Galashiels' Beech Avenue on September the 11th last year.It is alleged she repeatedly struck Catriona Aprile on the head with a piece of wood or similar item; struggled with her; placed her foot on her neck and stood on her neck, causing her breathing to be restricted; and made threats of violence.
Lauder pled not guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court today, and the case was continued to trial on December the 8th.
She faces serious charges related to a violent attack that caused severe injury and danger to life.
