JAKE HARDSTAFF FROM BOSTON CHARGED WITH 30 SEXUAL OFFENCES IN LINCOLNSHIRE

A man identified as Jake Hardstaff, with no fixed address in the Boston area, has been formally charged with a total of 30 sexual offences by Lincolnshire Police. The allegations against Hardstaff span a period of nearly 16 years, dating back to June 2008 and extending up to June 2024. Authorities have detailed a series of serious accusations, including multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and other related offences.

Hardstaff, aged 33, is scheduled to appear before Lincoln Magistrates Court on Friday, May 16, to face these charges. The extensive nature of the allegations has prompted a significant police investigation, which has uncovered disturbing claims involving victims of various ages, including minors and adult women.

The charges against Hardstaff encompass a wide range of offences. Among these are three counts of inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity, which indicates an attempt to persuade or coerce a very young girl into sexual acts. There are also six counts of rape involving a girl under 13, highlighting the severity of the accusations involving minors.

Further allegations include five counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration, which suggest acts of sexual assault involving penetration of a very young girl. In addition, there are seven counts of raping a woman aged 16 or over, indicating that the offences are not limited to minors but also involve adult victims.

Other charges include seven counts of sexual assault on a female, as well as one count of causing a female aged 13 or over to engage in a non-penetrative sexual activity. The latter suggests attempts to manipulate or coerce victims into sexual acts without penetration. Additionally, Hardstaff faces one count of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour within an intimate relationship, which points to abusive conduct beyond the physical acts.

The police investigation continues as authorities prepare for Hardstaff’s court appearance, where he will be formally charged and given the opportunity to respond to these serious allegations. The case has garnered significant attention due to the number of offences and the length of time over which they are alleged to have occurred, raising concerns about safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable individuals in the community.
