OFFENDER JADE PARKER JAILED FOR USING FALSE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ALLEGATIONS AS A WEAPON
A woman named Jade Parker, from Hungerford Road in Crewe, was sentenced to prison after making false accusations of domestic violence to harm a man.She appeared before Chester Crown Court on March 26 and pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice, harassment, and stalking.
She received a 30-month sentence.
The false allegations occurred between December 16, 2023, and February 16, 2024, during which Parker, aged 37, accused the man of assaulting her on two separate occasions, resulting in his arrest each time.
However, investigations revealed that he was not present at the scene of the supposed attacks at the relevant times.
Cheshire police explained that Parker was arrested for creating these false claims, which caused serious upheaval in the man’s life and led to his deprivation of liberty.
Sergeant Keith Graham pointed out that her actions had serious repercussions, including feelings of insecurity and the man purchasing security cameras.
The police underscored their stance that domestic violence allegations are highly serious and that exploiting them for personal advantage is utterly unacceptable.
The court found her conduct had severe negative impacts on the victim, affecting his professional life and family, and sentenced her to 30 months in custody.
The police condemned her false accusations as a deplorable misuse of the justice system.
