WOMAN ACCUSED OF NEGLECTING 30 DOGS IN MIDDLESBROUGH
A woman responsible for approximately 30 dogs has been accused of failing to provide a suitable environment for their welfare.
Ginette Warne, aged 59, is charged with neglecting her duty as a responsible animal keeper.
Court documents state: '[Warne] did not take such steps as were reasonable in all the circumstances to ensure that the needs of an animal for which you were responsible, namely 30 dogs, were met to the extent required by good practice in that you failed to meet their need for a suitable environment.' The alleged crime occurred on September 19, 2023, in Middlesbrough.
Warne, of Whitby Road, is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Friday at 10am to face the Animal Welfare Act charge.
