A man has pleaded guilty to threatening to share intimate images and harassing a woman and is due to be sentenced next month.
Gavin Gill admitted the offences after appearing before Barrow-in-Furness Magistrates’ Court.
The charges relate to threatening to share a photograph or film of a person in an intimate state and harassment without violence.
Court documents show the case was first heard on 18 May 2026, when proceedings were adjourned until 18 June 2026 to allow Gill to enter a plea.
During that period, Gill was granted conditional bail.
The conditions included that he was not to contact the complainant, either directly or indirectly.
Further bail conditions were also imposed by the court.
The complainant has since confirmed that Gill pleaded guilty and is now due to return to court for sentencing on 16 July 2026.
The sentence will be decided by the court at the upcoming hearing.
