GARY AMBRIDGE FROM LUTON SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES COMMITTED OVER 20 YEARS AGO
In a case that highlights the long arm of justice, Gary Ambridge, a resident of Verulam Gardens in Luton, has been sentenced to nearly eight years in prison for serious child sexual offences that took place more than two decades ago.The offences, which spanned from 1997 to 2000, involved multiple indecent assaults against two young girls, and it was only after the victims came forward last year that the case was brought to light.
Ambridge, aged 58, initially denied the allegations during police interviews, attempting to dismiss the accusations.
However, during a court hearing held last month, he changed his plea and admitted to committing eight separate indecent assaults.
