MIDDLESBROUGH PAEDOPHILE TEACHER BANNED FROM CLASSROOM
A paedophile teacher who avoided jail after being caught with images of children has been banned from teaching for life.
Frederick Peppert, who worked as a supply teacher for a Middlesbrough-based agency, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photos of children in 2023.
The offences occurred over a period of ten years from 2012.
The 67-year-old had 30 images, including two in the highest category A, and was sentenced to six months in prison suspended for two years.
A misconduct panel recently found he breached his trust as a teacher and banned him indefinitely from teaching in any educational setting in England, noting the severity and prolonged nature of his crimes, which involved category A, B, and C images.
Peppert admitted his behavior as 'unacceptable' and stated he 'will have to live with the consequences of my actions for the rest of my life.'
