'SADISTIC & SHOCKING' EX-FALKIRK LABOUR MP ERIC JOYCE BLASTED OVER DEPRAVED PAEDO SHAME BY CHILDLINE FOUNDER
DEPRAVED former Labour politician Eric Joyce has been slammed by Childline founder Esther Rantzen after he pled guilty to a sickening child sex offence. The ex-Falkirk MP, 59 — who had a film of kids as young as one being abused — admitted searching the internet for paedophile images while boozing, a court heard.
And Dame Esther, 80 — who launched her helpline for youngsters facing danger in 1986 — told of her disgust as the dad of two was warned he faces at least a year in jail over the 51-second clip, which featured several youngsters up to the age of seven.
She told The Scottish Sun: “It’s a horrible truth that many more people watch this shocking, sadistic material than one could ever imagine.
“As we know, many of them are people in responsible jobs that otherwise are respected “I’m extremely sad that so many very young children have suffered in the making of this appalling video.
If there was no demand for this kind of material, much of this abuse would stop.
“People do all kinds of things when they are drunk — but enjoying watching child abuse says something about the man, not about the drink.” At Ipswich Crown Court, Joyce admitted making an indecent photograph of a child in a Category A movie between August 7, 2013, and November 6, 2018.
He was immediately placed on the sex offenders register
