WANTED MAN FINED AFTER BREACHING STALKING PROTECTION ORDER
A STALKER who threatened to burn down a pub in Winsford has been arrested after being on the run for more than a fortnight.
Elliot Rowe, of no fixed abode in Northwich, was jailed for 36 weeks in January for threatening to burn down the Brighton Belle pub in Winsford.
The 28-year-old made the threats on Wednesday, November 18, 2024.
These were part of a stalking campaign against the landlady of the pub, which involved accessing her social media accounts, phoning her more than 50 times, and repeatedly messaging her.
He also threw her drink in the pub, before forcing her to take refuge in the ladies' toilets.
A five-year stalking protection order was made against him on Wednesday, June 25.
After he breached this on Sunday, August 3, police launched a public appeal to help trace him on Wednesday, August 13.
Rowe was finally run to ground on Friday, August 29.
He appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on the day of his arrest, where he was ordered to pay a total of £202 in fines and prosecution costs.
