MAN JAILED FOR YEARS OF SEX ABUSE
A resident of Tower Hamlets has received a prison sentence after being convicted of sexually assaulting two individuals over a period of 14 years.Dulon Miah, aged 35, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on July 10 for sentencing relating to 18 counts of sexual offenses, including multiple rapes.
He had been found guilty of these charges in April.
The investigation into Miah's conduct was initiated in 2022 when one of the victims came forward, recounting that she had been subjected to abuse since childhood.
Detectives revealed that the victim’s abuse spanned more than ten years.
A second woman also reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Miah over several years.
Both victims were known to him personally.
Extensive medical records documenting the abuse were collected by detectives, aiding in his conviction and resulting in a 20-year prison sentence.
