KELTY MAN GIVEN UNPAID WORK FOR POSSESSION OF INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
A Kelty man named Douglas O’Hare, aged 40, from Beechbank Crescent, was ordered to perform unpaid work after being found in possession of indecent images of children.He appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between January 1 and August 30, 2022, he was in possession of such images.
Sheriff Susan Duff sentenced him to a community payback order including three years of supervision and 225 hours of unpaid work.
Additionally, O’Hare was placed on the sex offenders register for five years.
The sentencing highlights the court's response to his possession of illegal and inappropriate material involving children.
