MIDDLESBROUGH WOMAN CAUGHT WITH INDECENT IMAGES OF A CHILD
A woman was caught with indecent images of a child on her mobile phone after the police were tipped-off about a video uploaded to YouTube.Donna Henry had her digital devices seized and forensically examined by police, revealing grim images.
The 47-year-old, found guilty following a trial at Teesside Crown Court, admitted the images were on her mobile but claimed she didn't know who took them.
Prosecutor Becky Jane stated the images featured a young child's genitals with an adult's hand in some photos.
Henry stated: “The devices were downloaded, one of them contained seven indecent images of a child.
Three of the images showed close-ups of the child’s genitals.” She was convicted of possession of indecent images of a child in Category B.
The judge sentenced her to 12 months in custody suspended for two years, with 20 days of rehabilitation activity, and she was ordered to sign the sex offender register for ten years and was subject to a ten-year sexual harm prevention order.
