WOMAN BRUTALIZED IN HORRIFIC DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT
A man named Dean Gale, aged 37 and residing in Grimsby, was convicted of a severe domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend Natalie Lawson, aged 32.Gale launched a savage and prolonged attack lasting an hour and a half, during which he physically assaulted her by flinging chairs, punching, and pulling her hair after she picked him up from a night out in Lincoln on December 18.
Natalie suffered serious injuries, including bruising, swelling all over her body, a blood clot on the brain, and strangulation marks on her neck.
At one point, Gale downloaded Tinder on her phone and demanded she identify who she would sleep with.
He then forcibly shoved the phone into her mouth, causing her mouth to split.
Gale pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm at Grimsby Crown Court and was sentenced to 14 months in jail with a five-year restraining order.
Judge Jack described the case as one of the worst domestic violence incidents he had sentenced in some time.
Natalie has spoken out about her experience to encourage other women to speak up about abuse, emphasizing the importance of talking to someone before situations worsen.
She expressed her desire to protect her son and shared her regret over not leaving sooner, stating, "If you can talk to someone then do it because they are going to help you get out of the situation before it gets worse."
