Peter Coope, aged 39 and residing on Station Road in Healing, admitted guilt to multiple serious charges including inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity, assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration, raping a girl under 13, and touching a girl under 13 in a sexual manner during a court hearing at Grimsby Crown Court on Monday, 17 November 2025.
The allegations against Coope were brought to the attention of police after a third-party report was received at Grimsby Police Station, in which a young girl disclosed the abuse she had endured at his hands.
Following the report, officers visited Coope’s residence, and he was taken into custody later that day, on Monday, 21 April 2025.
An inquiry was conducted, during which Coope initially denied the accusations, claiming the girl was lying and suggesting her claims were fabricated because she was 'troubled.' However, during the court proceedings, he ultimately admitted to all four charges.
