MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST YOUNG BOYS IN BURNLEY

A sick pervert who sexually abused two young boys over more than 20 years has been jailed.

Vile David Preedy targeted the vulnerable victims for his own sexual gratification carrying out multiple offences against the youngsters.

His catalogue of offending was exposed after one of the victims bravely came forward last year to report to police what had happened.

And following a complex and sensitive investigation by our officers Preedy was charged.

In January he pleaded guilty to 12 sexual offences committed between August 2001 and December 2024.

Preedy, now 81, formerly of Park Avenue, Burnley appeared at Preston Crown Court on July 3rd where he was jailed for 10 years.
