SKELMERSDALE PAEDOPHILE DARREN RAWSTHORNE SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Darren Rawsthorne, also known as “Jimmy”, has been sentenced at Preston Magistrates’ Court after pleading guilty to four counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.The offences were investigated following evidence gathered by online child protection activists.
At the hearing on 16 September 2025, Rawsthorne received: 12-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months (x4 concurrent) 30-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) 10-year registration on the Sex Offenders Register Monitoring at Skelmersdale Police Station Rawsthorne is no longer under bail conditions but will remain under supervision as part of his suspended sentence.
The case is now concluded.
