A 57-year-old man has received a prison sentence of over four years after admitting to 11 child sexual offences.
The crimes took place over two periods: from 1995 to 2000, when Darren James Wood sexually abused a girl multiple times, and from 2013 to 2019, during which he repeatedly assaulted another girl.
The incidents were uncovered in 2024 when both women, now adults, reported the abuse to Northamptonshire Police.
An investigation followed, leading to Wood being charged with six counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 through touching, and three counts of sexual assault on a female.
In November, Wood pleaded guilty to all 11 charges at Northampton Crown Court.
He later appeared before the same court in January and was sentenced to four years and three months in prison.
