DAOUD KHAN FROM LUTON CONVICTED OF RAPE OF TEENAGE GIRL IN MILTON KEYNES AND LUTON
In a case that has shocked the local communities, Daoud Khan, a 40-year-old man from Luton, has been convicted of the serious crime of raping a teenage girl. The incident took place in March 2022, when Khan targeted a young girl who was alone in Milton Keynes.
Seizing the opportunity, he approached her under the guise of offering assistance.
According to reports, Khan claimed he could help her by taking her to his home address, asserting that his wife and children were present there.
He told the girl that he would help her find some support and accommodation, which appeared to be an attempt to gain her trust.
The girl agreed, and Khan arranged for a taxi to transport her from Milton Keynes to a property located in Luton.
Once they arrived at the address, the girl quickly realized that Khan’s story was not truthful.
The environment inside the property was far from what he had described; alcohol and drugs were visibly present, creating a dangerous and unsettling atmosphere.
It was during this time that Khan committed the assault, raping the teenage girl in his home.
Following the assault, the girl managed to leave the property later that day.
She sought help at nearby commercial establishments, clearly distressed and in need of assistance.
Meanwhile, Khan fled the country, evading immediate arrest.
However, his escape was short-lived, as he was extradited back to the United Kingdom from France in June 2022.
On Wednesday, after a two-week trial at Luton Crown Court, Khan, who resides on St Mildreds Avenue in Luton, was found guilty of one count of raping a child under the age of 16.
The court’s decision marks a significant step in the pursuit of justice for the victim.
Khan is scheduled to be sentenced at the same court on August 11, and the community awaits the outcome of that hearing with anticipation.
