CRAIG ALLEN IN COURT AFTER BOMBARDING HIS FORMER PARTNER WITH 300 TEXTS
Allen pleaded guilty to breaching an indefinite restraining order banning him from contacting his ex-partner, Michelle Beaver.
The court heard that he continued to contact her despite the order, including sending her 307 texts, three of which were threatening and abusive.
These included threats to set fire to her Almondbury home and to smash her windows.
Additionally, Allen was found drunk near her home and admitted to being drunk and disorderly in public.
The woman, fleeing from a history of domestic violence, feels significant psychological harm and fears for her safety, believing he’s capable of harming her.
District Judge Michael Fanning ordered more information on Allen, of Beechfield Terrace in Cleckheaton, prior to sentencing him.
