PERVERT WHO ESCAPED TO CANADA IN COURT AGAIN
A CONVICTED pervert who went on the run has appeared in court after being flown back to Scotland from Canada.Colin Guy, 55, made no attempt to go into hiding after fleeing to Canada and instead posted videos proclaiming his innocence on the YouTube and Myspace websites.
A warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to turn up at Paisley Sheriff Court for sentencing last October.
Guy, from Paisley, had terrorised a ward at the town's Royal Alexandra Hospital as nurses tried to care for him.
Staff were forced to flee when he groped them and invited the nurses to join him in bed for a sex romp.
One of the nurses was so alarmed she threw a jug of water over him.
When police arrested Guy he told them: "I'm a sexual pervert.
I need a woman." The court was told Guy turned into a monster after being taken to the hospital with a head injury in 2004.
He admitted two assault charges and conducting himself in a disorderly manner, making inappropriate sexual comments and a breach of the peace.
Guy was placed on the Sex Offenders' Register.
But when the sentencing case was called, it was revealed Guy had left his last known address - Greenlaw Guest House in Paisley - without telling authorities.
He fled to Vancouver to visit a woman he'd befriended on the internet.
She gave him a room but became alarmed at his conduct, kicked him out and contacted police.
Guy was arrested by federal agents in a shelter for the homeless and returned to Scotland.
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on March 16.
