SEXUAL RISK ORDER GRANTED AGAINST MAN WITH NO CONVICTIONS
MAGISTRATES have granted an interim Sexual Risk Order against a 34-year-old man who police say ‘poses a risk to the public’.Christos Masiri, 34, was handed the civil order after Workington Magistrates’ Court heard details of 10 alleged incidents ‘of a sexual nature’ from 2010 to present, which have not resulted in any criminal convictions.
Gemma Bull, for Cumbria Police, put forward the application for an interim Sexual Risk Order and outlined the alleged incidents.
She said in the most recent incident, which took place this year, Masiri allegedly made sexual comments to a supermarket worker and ‘rubbed himself against her’.
