CHRISTOPHER PARKER SCUNTHORPE SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR ABUSING GIRL IN DISGUSTING SERIES OF INCIDENTS
In a case that has shocked the community of Scunthorpe, Christopher Parker, a 30-year-old known resident of Holgate Road, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a series of heinous sexual offenses involving a young girl.The court heard that Parker engaged in multiple acts of sexual abuse, which included inappropriate touching and coercing the girl into sexual activities, actions that have been described as both disturbing and deeply troubling.
Prosecutor Craig Lowe presented the case at Grimsby Crown Court, emphasizing that Parker's misconduct was not an isolated incident but a pattern of abuse that occurred repeatedly within the Scunthorpe area.
The court was informed that Parker had admitted to the seven sexual offenses he was charged with, acknowledging that his actions were wrong and unacceptable.
It was revealed during the proceedings that Parker was already serving an eight-year prison sentence, which was handed down in April 2013 for other sexual offenses, including rape, committed against two different girls.
His previous sentence was set to conclude in April 2021, and he was not due for release until that time.
However, the recent convictions have significantly impacted his parole prospects.
Judge Mark Bury described Parker’s conduct as “routinely” abusive and “disgusting,” highlighting the severity and repeated nature of his crimes.
As a result of his latest conviction, Parker’s earliest possible parole date has been pushed back to October 2022.
Furthermore, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions to protect the community.
