CARDENDEN MAN IN COURT AFTER ABUSING FORMER PARTNER
A CARDENDEN man has found himself back in court after shouting down the phone at his former partner.
This was a breach of a non-harassment order imposed on King previously after he sent threats of violence to her.
Christopher King, 38, of Cardenden Road, admitted that having been made subject to a non-harassment order on November 6, 2019, he breached this on May 17 last year at an address in Lochgelly, when he shouted and swore at his former partner during a phone call with his daughter.
He has two previous convictions for domestic offending, Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard.
Defence solicitor James Moncrieff said his client was on a phone call to his daughter when he shouted at his former partner in the background.
Sheriff Charles Macnair deferred sentence until June 30 for King to be assessed for the Caledonia Programme for domestic offenders.
