CHRISTOPHER HARDY FROM SCUNTHORPE SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND INDECENT IMAGES

A resident of Scunthorpe, Christopher Hardy, aged 22, has been formally sentenced after admitting to serious criminal charges involving the possession and creation of explicit and indecent images.

Hardy appeared before Grimsby Crown Court to face the allegations, which included possessing extreme pornographic material and producing indecent images of a child.

During the court proceedings, Hardy pleaded guilty to all charges brought against him.

The court subsequently handed down a comprehensive sentence that reflects the severity of his actions.

As part of his punishment, Hardy was given a community order that will last for three years.

This order includes a requirement for him to complete 80 hours of unpaid work, undergo supervision, and participate in a sex offenders' rehabilitation programme designed to address his conduct.

In addition to the community order, Hardy was mandated to register as a sex offender for a period of five years.

This registration is a legal requirement aimed at monitoring individuals convicted of sexual offences and preventing further harm.

Furthermore, a sexual offences prevention order was issued against Hardy, also set to last for five years, restricting his activities and interactions to mitigate any potential risk to the public.
