CHRISTOPHER DOYLE'S SHOCKING CRIME IN DUNDEE AND LONGFORGAN: SEX OFFENDER'S TERRIFYING ATTACK ON TEENAGE GIRL

In August 2012, Christopher Doyle, a man with a troubling criminal history, was subjected to a series of legal restrictions following his conviction for a serious sexual assault. Doyle, who resides in Dundee and has connections to Longforgan, was placed on a three-year probation period and registered on the sex offenders' register. These measures included a ban on any unsupervised contact with individuals under the age of 17, as well as restrictions on engaging in voluntary or paid work without prior approval from his assigned social worker. Furthermore, Doyle was only permitted to be in the company of children under supervision, and only with the explicit consent of social services. The court's decision reflected the severity of his actions and the need for ongoing monitoring to prevent further offenses.

Back in July 2012, Doyle was involved in a disturbing incident that drew significant attention. He was identified as the perpetrator of a sexual assault on a teenage girl, which took place in Longforgan, Perthshire, in October 2010. The victim, a 17-year-old girl, recounted how Doyle, a taxi driver, initially engaged her with inappropriate comments about giving “freebies” in exchange for sexual favors. Doyle had picked her and a friend up from Fat Sam’s nightclub in Dundee, after which he dropped off her friend. During the journey, Doyle asked if she lived far away and boasted about previous instances where he had given “freebies” to other passengers.

He then made a shocking admission, claiming that he had made another passenger perform a sex act on him to “pay” for the fare, offering to settle for “ten pounds and a snog.” After she paid him, Doyle drove to a secluded lane, where he proceeded to attack her. The girl described how Doyle put his hand on her thigh and genitals, and when she attempted to escape, he followed her out of the vehicle and pressed himself against her, trapping her against his taxi. The court heard that Doyle then pressed his body against her, facing her with her back against the vehicle, and moved his hands up her skirt, touching her legs and underwear at her genital area. He forcibly kissed her, despite her efforts to push him away.

The victim’s parents noticed her distressed state upon her return home, prompting them to contact the police. DNA swabs taken from the girl matched Doyle’s DNA, providing concrete evidence linking him to the assault. Doyle, of Wiston Place in Dundee, admitted to the attack, which was committed in Longforgan. His sentencing was deferred until August 29, pending further reports, but the court’s findings underscored the gravity of his misconduct and the ongoing threat he posed to the community.
