CHAD CULLEY FROM WITNEY ADMITS TO CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN OXFORD CROWN COURT
In December 2019, Chad Culley, a 21-year-old resident of Blenheim Drive in Witney, appeared before Oxford Crown Court to face serious allegations related to child sexual offences.Culley pleaded guilty to multiple charges that involved disturbing acts committed against minors as young as nine years old.
The court was informed that Culley faced a total of six counts, which included two charges of causing a child under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Additionally, he admitted to engaging in sexual communication with a minor and to producing indecent images of children.
One other count, alleging that he caused a different child under 13 to engage in sexual acts, was not contested, as the Crown Prosecution Service accepted his plea of guilty to that charge.
All of these offences were committed during the year 2017, and the court heard that Culley's actions took place within the town of Witney.
The nature of the abuse was particularly disturbing, involving Culley coercing children to perform sexual acts and also encouraging one of them to remove their clothing.
The victims, whose identities are protected for legal reasons, ranged in age from as young as nine years old.
Regarding the indecent images, the court revealed that Culley had produced one image classified as Category A, which is considered the most severe in terms of explicit content, and one image in Category C, which is the least severe.
