ELLESMERE PORT MAN ADMITS CHILD SEX ABUSE CHARGES AND FACES JAIL
An Ellesmere Port man named Callum Parry was confronted with serious allegations after admitting to child sexual abuse offences. During a hearing at Chester Crown Court, Parry, aged 22 and residing on Dove Close, pleaded guilty to three distinct charges: inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, inciting a child to watch a sexual act, and engaging in sexual communication with a child. The judge, Judge Stephen Everett, acknowledged the gravity of these offences and warned Parry that he faces potential jail time. Prosecutors requested a pre-sentence report, and Parry is scheduled to return to court on August 1 for sentencing. He has been granted conditional bail, which requires him to reside at his home address, avoid contact with anyone under 18 unless unavoidable, and report to the police within three days. Furthermore, he is instructed to sign as an interim sex offender and notify case officers if he changes address. Judge Everett emphasized the seriousness of the matter, stating, “Don’t be under any illusions – you’ve pleaded guilty to serious matters and custody is under consideration for you. You will have to see a probation officer who will prepare a pre-sentence report. It means you have to discuss your case and your background, and they will form a report on you. If you don’t cooperate with the report, the judge can’t sentence you properly.”
