FOLLOWING A TRIAL ON DECEMBER 3RD, MR. SCADE WAS FOUND GUILTY OF THE SEXUAL ASSAULT
On May 29, 2025, Barry Scade, aged 43, pled guilty to charges of domestic abuse, including coercive control, stalking, and harassment against a woman.
He was also accused of sexually assaulting another woman but pled not guilty to that charge.
Following a trial on December 3rd, Mr.
Scade was found guilty of the sexual assault.
His sentencing took place at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on January 15th, 2026, where he was sentenced to a five-year non-harassment order related to the domestic abuse offenses.
He was also subject to a restraining order preventing him from entering near the victim’s home or workplace, and was ordered to complete 200 hours of community payback, serve a one-year supervision order, and wear an electronic tag for six months.
In relation to the sexual assault, the court sentenced him to an additional 200 hours of community service and required him to be placed on the sex offenders register for one year.
