A predator has been jailed for historical sexual offences committed against children in Rochdale.
Aslam Khan, previously known as Maurice ‘Morris’ Wynn, aged 61, residing in Maitland Close, Rochdale, has received a prison sentence of seven years for seven counts of incident assault involving three victims.
The crimes took place between 1987 and 1998, according to Greater Manchester Police.

Khan was also issued a lifetime sexual harm prevention order at Manchester Minshull Crown Court on July 25.
“Sexual abuse knows no time limits – regardless of when it happened or your age at the time, we are here to listen.
We will provide support, conduct thorough investigations, and take firm action against offenders.
Your allegations will be taken seriously, and you will be treated with dignity and respect,” a police spokesperson commented.
Investigating past sexual offences is highly important in delivering justice for those who have endured trauma for years.
Authorities emphasize their commitment to pursue the truth and hold perpetrators accountable, regardless of how much time has elapsed.
