FORMER POLICE OFFICER JAILED FOR HISTORIC SEXUAL OFFENCES
2016.A former officer of Nottinghamshire Police has received a prison sentence today (22 June, 2016) after being convicted of historical sexual offences.
Anthony Critchley, aged 64 and living on Riseholme Avenue in Wollaton, faced charges including three counts of indecent assault against a minor and one count of indecency with a child.
The crimes took place in the early 1970s while Critchley was off duty, targeting a teenage boy.
He was sentenced to two years behind bars and will be on the sex offenders register for a decade.
