In a tragic case that has shocked the community of Kilmarnock and the wider Glasgow area, Andrew Morrison, a 25-year-old man, has been handed a prison sentence of four years and four months for inflicting severe injuries on a three-month-old baby.
The incident took place on the 19th of April last year, during a time when Morrison was entrusted with babysitting the infant while her mother was attending a concert.
According to court records, Morrison lost his temper due to the baby's fractious behavior, which he found difficult to manage.
