In a case that has shocked the local community of Longbenton, North Tyneside, Andrew Gamble, a 31-year-old married man and computer expert, was sentenced to prison for possessing a significant collection of indecent images of children.

Gamble, who resides on Byland Road in Longbenton, was found to have stored approximately 40,000 pornographic images on his personal computer.

Among these, authorities discovered around 1,500 images classified as indecent and involving children.
