A former police officer has been charged with stalking.
Andrew Edwards, aged 32, from Chippenham, was accused of misconduct in public office and section 4A stalking.
Wiltshire Police stated that he was suspended from his duties as a response officer after the force was made aware of the alleged events.
Subsequently, Mr.
Edwards resigned from Wiltshire Police on 6 May while investigations were ongoing.
He has been bailed to appear before Swindon Magistrates' Court on 7 August.
The case involves serious allegations of stalking and misconduct, with the police force taking actions including suspension and subsequent resignation of the officer involved.

Former PC Andrew Edwards, 31, from Chippenham, admitted using police systems to look up his former partner, her male friends and her new boyfriend without lawful purpose 27 times and going to her home on 31 occasions.
He pleaded guilty at Bristol Crown Court and was sentenced to 20 months in prison, suspended for two years, as well as 20 days of rehabilitation activity, three months of monitoring, and 100 hours of unpaid work.
