WOMAN DENIES NEGLECTING CHILD AND 'SUPERVISING HIM WHILE DRUNK' IN GREENOCK
A WOMAN has denied neglecting a child and supervising him while 'heavily intoxicated' at a property in Greenock.Amanda Cochrane, 29, is charged with causing or procuring the child to be neglected in a manner that was likely to cause him unnecessary suffering, or injury to his health.
She is also alleged to have left the same child alone and unsupervised on June 29 this year.
During a brief hearing at Greenock Sheriff Court, Cochrane pleaded not guilty through defence solicitor Gerry Keenan.
The case is due to call again on March 24 with the trial set to begin on April 20.
