LUTON RAPIST JAILED FOR SEVEN YEARS
A man from Luton has been sentenced to seven years in prison following a violent and horrific sexual assault committed in 2013.Ali Hafeez, aged 19, was convicted of two counts of rape and one of robbery in relation to the incident that occurred on 8 June in Luton.
During the attack, Hafeez picked up the victim and drove her to a car park within an industrial estate.
There, he forcibly raped her twice and subsequently stole her mobile phone and money.
The victim recognized Hafeez’s vehicle registration number, which eventually led to his apprehension.
He was found guilty of the charges on 27 October 2014.
