MIDDLESBROUGH PAEDOPHILE SENT BACK TO JAIL AS DANGEROUS PREDATOR
A sex offender has been jailed after six breaches of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).58-year-old Alan Falconer, of The Green, Billingham (pictured below), was jailed on Friday 10th April for three-and-a-half years after it was found that he had been having contact with children.
Falconer had deceived the children’s families and didn’t disclose his previous convictions against children, including rape, attempted rape and indecent assault.
After contacting the police with concerns, an investigation was carried out and it was found that Falconer had been using grooming tactics with the families involved in order to gain access to the children.
He was arrested on 10th March and charged with six breaches of an SHPO.
—————————————————————————————————— A man from Middlesbrough named Alan Falconer, aged 41, who had previously served a nine-year prison sentence for rape and various sexual offences involving minors, was sent back to prison after courts determined he still posed a threat as a child sex predator.
The judge underscored that Falconer, who had been involved in sexually abusing children since he was 18, required stringent measures to protect young people.
Falconer, employed as a delivery driver and residing at Fleet House on Cargo Fleet Lane, was originally imprisoned in 1999 for crimes committed on a caravan site located along Easington Road in Hartlepool.
He was released under license in January 2005, but continued to show inappropriate interests, as revealed during court proceedings.
Authorities confiscated his laptop in November and found 30 images depicting child pornography.
He also violated his release conditions by spending nights at friends’ houses while he was supposed to remain at his designated address.
Witness accounts included Falconer kissing and cuddling a toddler, attracting children by standing outside a shop with a puppy, and teaching a seven-year-old boy how to operate his laptop on multiple occasions.
Although a Sexual Offences Prevention Order barred him from contacting minors and from possessing electronic devices or being near schools and playgrounds, he continued to breach these restrictions.
The court also suspected grooming behavior and classified him as a predatory paedophile.
Consequently, Falconer received an additional 14 months in prison, plus the remaining days from his previous sentence, and will be under extended licence restrictions for four years following his release.
Judge David Bryant described Falconer as a dangerous offender, stressing the gravity of his crimes and the persistent risk he poses to children.
