MAN JAILED AFTER RAPING TWO GIRLS WHEN HE WAS A TEENAGER
A man who committed sexual assault against two young girls during his teenage years has been sentenced to more than nine years in prison.
Aiden Corbishley, aged 28, carried out these crimes while he was between 16 and 17 years old.
Over a period of four and a half years, he repeatedly attacked two girls who were between eight and twelve years old at the time.
Corbishley, from Trafford, was also accused of raping the girls, according to court reports.
The court additionally revealed that there were allegations of sexual offences involving a third child.
During the second day of his trial, Corbishley admitted to two counts of rape, assaulting a girl under 13, encouraging or inciting a child to take part in sexual activities, and being an under-18 offender engaging in sexual conduct in front of a minor.
He received a prison sentence of nine years and six months and is required to serve at least two-thirds of this term behind bars.
