A RUNCORN couple were sentanced to a total of 26 years in prison for acts of indecency against children.

A jury at Warrington Crown Court found Geoffrey Earnest Fowler, 35, guilty on five counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault.

Mary Bernadette Fowler, 49, was found guilty on five charges of rape, three charges of indecent assault and one charge of taking indecent photos.

Co-defendant Bernard Linford, 52, awaits sentance after being found guilty on one charge of indecent assault.
