MAN HARASSED EX-PARTNER AND THREW BRICK THROUGH HER WINDOW
A man who harassed his ex-partner and threw a brick through her window has been jailed.
Wayne Foster, 47, was banned from contacting the victim by a restraining order but he turned up at her home in St Ives at about 6.40pm on 9 January and covered the doorbell CCTV camera with his finger before walking away.
Then on 2 February at about 3.15pm, Foster threw a brick through the kitchen window of her house.
Foster was spotted walking in Burrel Road, St Ives, by police about 10 minutes later but he assaulted the officer who tried to arrest him and ran away.
He was eventually arrested on 3 February.
On Thursday (14 August), at Huntingdon Law Courts, Foster, of no known address, was jailed for 31 months, having pleaded guilty to assault with intent to resist arrest and two counts of harassment – breaching a restraining order.
DC James Lewis, who investigated, said: “Foster left his former partner terrified by these two incidents.
He knew he shouldn’t have been anywhere near her or her house, but he chose to ignore the restraining order and how he’s been jailed as a result.”
