MIDDLETON MAN PLEADS GUILTY AFTER CHILD ONLINE SAFETY TEAM

Walter Stevens, from Leeds, has pleaded guilty to a sexual offence following a sting operation by the Child Online Safety Team (COST).

At a hearing on 12 September 2025 at Leeds Magistrates’ Court, Stevens was sentenced to: 18-month Community Order 25-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) 60-day Curfew (10 pm – 6 am) Court fines and costs The court confirmed that Stevens is no longer subject to bail conditions, and the case is now concluded.
