VINCENT RANK FROM SLOUGH JAILED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND FETISH WEBSITE OPERATIONS
In February 2021, Vincent Rank, a 61-year-old man from Slough, was sentenced to nearly two years in prison after being convicted of serious offenses involving the exploitation of a young girl and the operation of illicit adult websites.The case revealed disturbing details about Rank's activities, which included setting up a sexual photoshoot with an 11-year-old girl at his residence in Slough, Berkshire.
According to court reports, Rank arranged a photoshoot involving the young girl, who was dressed in revealing, skimpy underwear.
The photographs taken during this session were subsequently uploaded to one of Rank’s adult websites, which catered to Nylon fetish enthusiasts.
These websites were operated from the privacy of his garden shed, where he maintained multiple X-rated platforms.
The court heard that Rank’s intention was to profit financially from these indecent images.
Jurors at Reading Crown Court found Rank guilty of two counts of taking indecent photographs of a child.
The court was informed that Rank, who also engaged in cross-dressing, managed two suggestively named websites.
One was a fetish site dedicated to 1950s-style Nylon content, which Rank described as “spick and span,” and the other, launched in 2004, featured adult films.
Both sites contained material filmed at various locations around his house and even outdoors in his back garden.
During the proceedings, Judge Heather Norton provided a detailed summary of the offenses.
She described the first set of photographs, where the young girl was dressed in a very short, low-cut, tight dress similar to what Rank’s wife wore to fetish clubs.
The girl was also wearing what a witness described as “stripper heels,” making her look like a prostitute or sex worker.
The judge emphasized that although the girl later recalled the photoshoot as a fun experience, this did not negate the inappropriate and indecent nature of the images.
The photographs were not merely inappropriate but were classified as indecent under the law.
Judge Norton highlighted that Rank’s activities were driven by his fetish for Nylon, and he had deliberately uploaded these images to a pornographic website he personally set up and maintained.
She stated that the images were made available to a high volume of viewers and were intended for commercial gain.
The court’s findings underscored the severity of Rank’s actions, which involved exploiting a minor for sexual gratification and profit.
In sentencing, Judge Norton imposed a prison term of 21 months on Rank.
Additionally, she ordered him to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for a period of 10 years, reflecting the gravity of his offenses and the potential risk posed to the community.
