PERTH MAN BANNED FROM INTERNET OVER CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES

A 33-YEAR-OLD Perth man has been banned from using the internet after appearing at the city’s Sheriff Court on a kiddie porn charge.

He made a brief appearance in private before Sheriff Lindsay Foulis, charged with being in possession of 1105 indecent photographs of children.

He made no plea and his case was continued for further inquiries.

The offence is alleged to have taken place at his home between January 1, 2003, and November 8, 2007.

He was granted his liberty but the two special bail conditions were imposed.
