FOLKESTONE BULLY TYRONE TANNER JAILED FOR SLAPPING EX AND PUSHING DOOR INTO HER FACE
Tyrone Tanner, of Dover Road, Folkestone, admitted to actual bodily harm, assault by beating, and stalking when he appeared in court.
The court was told he became angry when his ex-partner wanted to spend time with her children and refused to accept their breakup following a hostile holiday row.
Tanner repeatedly contacted her via phone, left voicemails, approached her daughter, and even ordered an engagement ring to her home.
The violence escalated when he turned up uninvited at her home, pushed a door into her face with such force that she suffered a concussion, a lump on her eyebrow, and a headache.
He initially denied the charges but later pleaded guilty.
Tanner, who has previous domestic violence convictions, was sentenced at Margate Magistrates’ Court to 32 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, ordered to complete 20 rehabilitation and relationship courses, and pay court costs and a victim surcharge.
A 12-month restraining order was issued banning him from contacting or going near his ex-partner’s home.
