‘DANGEROUS’ RAPIST LLOYD THOMAS FROM FOLKESTONE JAILED FOR 10 YEARS
A “dangerous” rapist has been jailed for 10 years.Lloyd Thomas, 58, was found guilty of five sexual offences following a recent trial at Canterbury Crown Court.
Thomas, of Risborough Lane, Folkestone, denied all charges against him.
But he was convicted by a jury of two counts of rape and three sexual assaults, as well as a harassment offence.
He was sentenced on Thursday 20 November at the same court to 10 years’ imprisonment and will spend a further four years on licence.
Detective constable Gemma Chadwick said: “Thomas is a dangerous sexual predator.
“I am pleased that the victim found the courage to come forward, so that we could investigate Thomas’ crimes and ensure that he was made to face the consequences of his actions.
“I hope the sentence that has been imposed will help to bring her a sense of closure.”
