CHATHAM SEX OFFENDERS JAILED OVER CONSPIRACY TO SEXUALLY ABUSE YOUNG CHILDREN
A man from Chatham convicted of conspiring with a woman to sexually abuse minors has received an eight-and-a-half-year prison sentence.Tristan Goodwin, aged 24, and Angel Fuller, aged 19, were sentenced today at Maidstone Crown Court following charges related to sexual offenses involving children over a span of two years.
The court heard that Goodwin engaged in sexual acts with a child on at least three occasions, facilitated by Fuller, who arranged for the meetings between May 2021 and January 2022.
Later in 2022, Fuller facilitated another encounter where Goodwin raped a different child.
Fuller, residing on Churchill Avenue in Chatham, and Goodwin, from Edinburgh Road, Chatham, were both detained on 24 May.
Investigations revealed that Goodwin paid Fuller to connect him with potential child victims.
Authorities also established that in 2020, Goodwin had engaged with two children via social media, grooming them.
This grooming led to the children sending indecent images and meeting him, resulting in sexual assaults.
Goodwin faced multiple charges, including rape of a child, arranging child sex offences, inciting children to engage in sexual acts, paying for sexual services of minors, and possession of indecent images.
Fuller was charged with aiding and abetting the child’s rape and arranging child sex offences.
Both were sentenced in court, with Fuller receiving four and a half years in prison.
Additionally, both offenders are subject to sexual harm prevention orders and are registered on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
