CHATHAM CHARITY WORKER AARON ROWE STUNG IN CHILD SEX CHAT HORROR
A 41-year-old Salvation Army worker has been arrested after being caught in an online child sex sting carried out by Red Rose UK.Aaron Rowe, 41, was confronted at his home address in Chatham on 19 December 2025 after investigators uncovered a seven-week chat log between Rowe and one child.
I am Ollie, founder of Red Rose UK, and I was directly involved in this operation.
The sting was conducted by Red Rose UK, alongside the Predator Awareness team, with Tom present during the confrontation.
When challenged outside his home, Rowe covered his face for the entire encounter using his T-shirt, refusing to show his identity on camera.
During the confrontation, Rowe attempted to deflect responsibility, blaming the death of his late father and his alcohol use for the sustained communications.
Despite this, Rowe admitted that he should have blocked the child and accepted that the contact was wrong.
The length of the interaction — seven weeks — and Rowe’s role as a charity worker associated with a well-known organisation has caused serious concern.
Police were called immediately.
Rowe was arrested by Kent Police and taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for Red Rose UK said the case highlights “how offenders will often attempt to excuse prolonged offending behaviour by citing personal trauma, while still knowingly continuing contact with a child.” No exaggeration.
No hearsay.
