EVIL RAPIST TIM BAKER SENTENCED TO 25 YEARS FOR HORRIFIC CRIMES
A violent rapist who also physically attacked two women over a period of nine years has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Tim Baker's campaign of violence and controlling behaviour against the two victims started nearly a decade ago.
He was convicted by a jury of five rapes, three counts of coercive and controlling behaviour, two wounding offences, and four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Bradford Crown Court in March.
The court heard that Baker, 31, of Rosemary Close, Rastrick, was jailed for a quarter of a century with an extended sentence.
He was also given a restraining order and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, as he was deemed a 'danger to women'.
Detective Inspector Simon Archer commented, “Baker is a violent and controlling rapist who deserves to be in prison for a very long time.
His victims have shown real bravery throughout the court process to see him rightfully brought to justice.
I hope that the lengthy sentence helps to bring them some closure, so they can finally move forward with their lives.
I would also like to recognise the dedication and tenacity of those involved in this investigation, which has once again highlighted their continued commitment to our communities.” The article emphasizes that anyone who has experienced sexual abuse should feel confident in reporting it, as specialist teams will handle cases with seriousness and confidentiality to ensure justice is served.
