PAEDO WITH 'ADULT BABY' FETISH AVOIDS JAIL AFTER SHARING SICK IMAGES OF CHILDREN
Thomas Wright, a resident of Hartlepool, was detained by police after indecent images of children as young as 18 months were found on his mobile phone. The images, some categorized as the most serious Category A, alongside others in categories B and C, totaled 65 in number.
Wright also admitted to possessing 33 prohibited images of minors.
This case was brought to court at Teesside Crown Court, with authorities revealing that police had seized his electronic devices during a search at his residence in March of the previous year.
Prosecutor Jenny Haigh explained that police responded to reports suggesting that Wright had uploaded an indecent picture to YouTube, which led to the discovery of all offending images on his phone.
Wright confessed responsibility for the content, saying he was the only person with access to the device.
He was previously considered of good character and was involved in an online chat community for 'adult babies,' which investigators linked to the production of the images over a period of two months.
The court emphasized the age and vulnerability of the victims as an aggravating factor, with the youngest just 18 months old.
Defense lawyer Martin Scarborough noted Wright’s physical disabilities and mental health challenges, adding that he has no criminal record and has shown remorse.
Wright had previously pleaded guilty at Teesside Magistrates’ Court and has since demonstrated good compliance with probation conditions.
Judge Jonathan Carroll acknowledged Wright’s significant disability but stressed that this does not justify engaging in harmful acts towards children.
He encouraged Wright to make a positive contribution to society.
Wright was sentenced to eight months in jail, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to complete 50 days of rehabilitation.
He is also subject to a three-year sexual harm prevention order to prevent future offenses.
