TEENAGE PERVERT WHO BREACHED COURT ORDER REPEATEDLY MUST WAIT TO LEARN HIS SENTENCE
A convicted sex offender who has repeatedly breached a court order will have to wait to learn his fate.
Medical reports will be considered before Bailey Stainsby is sentenced for the latest breaches of his sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) when he deleted his online history and used an alias on websites.
The 19-year-old was made subject of the SHPO in April 2022 when he was convicted of possession of indecent images of children, Teesside Crown Court heard.
Elisha Marsay, prosecuting, said: “This breach was clearly deliberate due to the number of websites visited but they do appear to adult content.” The court heard how the teenager had breached the order on several occasions since it was imposed.
Stainsby, of Herbert Walk, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to two breaches of his SHPO between January and September last year.
Tyler Plunkett, mitigating, urged the judge to postpone sentencing to allow time for the Probation Service to assess his client’s autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.
Recorder Kama Melly KC adjourned the case until April 24 to allow time for an update of the teenager’s pre-sentence report.
