COVENTRY MEN JAILED FOR GROOMING AND EXPLOITING TEENAGER
Men ‘groomed and prostituted teenager’ in Coventry.Thomas Entwistle, aged 26 from Southam, and Martin Cantle, aged 24 from Coventry, were convicted of grooming a 17-year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution in Coventry.
They exploited her for their financial gain and supplied her with controlled drugs, controlling her every move and putting her in highly dangerous situations.
Both men were sentenced to 11 years in prison at Warwick Crown Court after being convicted by a jury.
The investigation was led by Det Insp Nigel Jones, who stated that the girl was groomed by both men in 2014 and was manipulated with threats and violence to prevent her from escaping.
The court also ordered both offenders to sign the sex offenders register for life and issued them with permanent sexual harm prevention orders.
